Safety Rails
Richards-Wilcox Systems
SafetyRail™ guard rail provides a highly visible protective barrier to meet your facility safety requirements. It is made in the U.S.A.; precision formed from high-strength steel, and painted safety yellow. Solid structural support posts are manufactured using wide flange beams, providing an economical solution for guard rail support.
Single, double, and triple guard rail configurations are available in 1-foot lengths from 2 to 10 feet, providing a wide range of options to protect everything that matters in your facility.
SafetyRail™ makes it easy and quick to order exactly the correct Posts and Railings you need for your specific guard rail application. Inline posts have the center of the "I" beam pre-drilled for straight runs of guard rail. No waste, no unnecessary kits with extras, just pure value.
- 6" Steel I-Beam Post
- 7" x 9" x 3/8" Steel base plate
- Rail Mounting Hardware - 1/2" x 1-1/2" Bolts, 1/2" Washers, and 1/2" Nuts
- Post Mounting Hardware - 3/8" x 4" Wedge Bolts
- Rubberized Protective Post Cap
- Painted Safety Yellow
When bolted together the bottom of the guard rail is approximately 5 inches from the floor. The double and triple guard rail systems have approximately 12 inches between each rail. All mounting hardware noted above to anchor posts and bolt rails to posts are included with the purchase of posts.
Keeping personnel safe and reducing lost-time accidents in your facility is a primary concern. In high-traffic areas, a strip of yellow tape along the floor simply won't do. The ideal solution is SafetyRailTM Pedestrian Handrail - designed specifically to separate work zones, control traffic flow, and clearly define walkways around equipment, machinery, material staging areas, in-plant offices, doorways, and many other ground-level applications.
SafetyRailTM Pedestrian Handrails are available from stock in 6 ft sections and include a unique baseplate design that ensures installation flexibility. Each railing section mounts straight to the surface using four 3 /8" anchors (not included) and can be easily positioned to provide close corners and railing intersections to meet your facility requirements.
